At BBB last summer there were a few – think importer or shop somewhere down that way. Looked very nice. I beat a guy in final of drag race on a Gunnar so obviously not as good as On-ones!

    Here you go http://www.gunnarbikes.co.uk/

Loads on 29er forum on mtbr about them.

didn't you order a Singular about 24 hours ago?

And didn't you tell me you were going to stop flitting from bike to bike and just ride the On=One 29er.

By the way who stocks decent 29er suss forks? Rebas or F29s possibly, preferaly bolt thbrough.

mate, got a set of maxle's on the el cap.
gonna run qr on the swift, as it is gonna be used for more sedate riding.

but, how much you asking for em?

I have had a Ruffian (26") for about three years or so. I am very happy with it, great build quality and it has stood up to lots of use very well.

Clink, I was one of the (two?) Gunnar Ruffian owners at the BBB, I didn't do the drag race so it must have been the other guy you beat.

The prices look to have gone up a fair bit since I bought mine.

    Ton,

Fork wise you could do a lot worse than the Suntour Epicon's that CRC are knocking out. 100mm 15mm bolt thru for £200. I just put a pair on my OnOne and can't really tell much difference between that and my Reba SL's.

The only potential downside for you is the 185mm max rotor allowed. For the price they are pretty light air forks (around 1820g without the axle) and quite well put together.

Reba team 100mm 20mm maxle seemingly in stock here

Manitou stock due in this week apparently.

Only heard good things about the Gunnars – seen a couple and always appear to be very tidy frames. Never ridden one.

    Nope.

The maxle one is pictured but the description says 9mm QR.

You'd think somebody would bring in a few from the states as they are obviously in demand? Trouble is, nobody wants to pay £500+ for them…

My Suntour Epicons just arrived today (ony £170 with the recent CRC 10% discount) – they certainly look nicely put together. Will report back once I've actually used them!

    They are QR15 though.
