    I have a located a very nice Genesis Altitude 853 which I strongly suspect to have been stolen.

    Does anybody know of one stolen in the North West?

    Yes. Checks with lancs and gmp have turned nothing up so far

    Found the owner! Nicked from Skelmersdale last month.

    Can I just say (and this is a very important point)

    If you are unfortunate enough to have your bike(s) stolen, please check and double check when you report it, that the details are written down properly!

    This poor bugger had £9k of bikes nicked and none of them were correctly described on the crime! It makes it bloody difficult to identify them as stolen at a later date!!!
