It really is that short, practically square, the spare shows how little gap there is between the wheels.
    Dead cute, though!
    I really, really want one!

Any vehicle that comes with an axe goes straight to the top of my want list.

    Daimler Unimog apparently:

    Edit: I’m guessing the 401 model…

Bingo! I’m not entirely sure of the model, but yes, it’s a Daimler Unimog, 1951, ex. Swiss Army.
Amazing little beast, it’s been driven over to France, top speed 65kph!
The owner pulls tanks around with it…
    I’m incredibly envious.

After they dropped the screen for me to take a photo, I did comment about not grinning too much, ‘cos of getting bugs on your teeth, and the owners wife said that they still bloody hurt even at 65kph. 😀
He was saying that he took it to some event where there were knife-edge obstacles for taking tanks over, and never being one to shirk a challenge, he took the Mog over. He did think he’d rather bitten off more than he could chew when the front bumper dug into the dirt at the bottom of the first one, and the truck was close to being vertical.
    And no roll-bar…
I really can’t express just how much I want one!

After PIC 1…did it take off?

The truck, or the Tiger Moth parked behind it?
Interesting thought, that; a Unimog with wings on, even more multipurpose than normal. 😀
