………an original 20mm dual cam maxle for 35/40mm forks?

(not the one with the open thread end)

Can’t find one anywhere.

We had the same problem last year, could only get the smaller ones which were about 5mm too short. Ended up bodging it with an old QR and some random parts from the tool box.

I’m not keen on bodging an axle together Tbh.

Unless I can get a used one the only other option I can see is getting a DH maxle. I’d much rather have the convenience of the QR type though.

Thought I’d update this for anyone else googling for a dual cam maxle in the future.

I looked through all the RS spare parts catalogs and the last dual cam 20mm maxle listed in any of them is marked as a “Lyrik/Domain/Totem FR 20mm Maxle” with RS part number 11.4015.424.010

I managed to find a German retailer with one in stock so hopefully they haven’t mixed the part numbers up on their website and it’s the right one when it arrives.
