    don't ring BETD, they have no connection what so ever.

    I phoned betd and they said they had nothing and nothing to do with Burgtec today. I spoke to a lady.

    Its not the atual axel which is the problem, more the hubs axel itself. The thread is stripped which means the bit which tensions the freehub to the hub comes off and makes putting the wheel in a faff.
