  • Anyone know the real weight of Hope Tech X2 brakes?

    I've seen 340g advertised but does this include rotor and is it actually a realistic weight? Or when are the Race X2's out?

    Looking for something a bit lighter than my Shimano SLX, which will go on the hardtail.

    I'm using Ashima rotors already which I think are probably lighter than standard Hope?

    According to Hope the races will be out this week.

    However speaking to Wheelies, they recon sometime early Jan, as it will be press release only before xmas.

    Just checked with hope as i am wanting a set and can get them rather cheap, and they will not now be out till the 2nd week in January.
