judging by the crank, pedals, brakes… cheap tat fashion bikes. Could be wrong though.

    £250? Bound to be crap.

EBC have Reynolds singlespeed/fixie bikes (Revolution Track) £254 from £400

I have a Shand with no decals but that’s another story.

That EBC Track looks amazing value. 🙂

I’ve given my debit card to my wife ’till the urge subsides – my knees would never cope and it’d end up being used as a clothes rack, like the BMX.

My commuter is a NoLogo. Bought it in London there about 4 year ago. So far the only thing I’ve changed on it is the tyres, grips, a couple of tubes and the brake pads. Mine came with flat bars instead of the flipped and chopped bars they’re currently rolling. It’s been quite reliable over the years. I’d change the tyres fairly sharpish assuming they’re still the same ones they used last time. Really thin yokes and prone to puncture, but she’s now running Schwable Marathon’s, so that’s been the end of the punctures. Can’t speak for recent versions, but the one pictured below is the one I have. Perfect for city/town riding. Spent a year doing 40km a day in London, never phased it.

This year’s Fuji Track bikes look nice.

Evans are doing the basic steel model at £300, the alloy Comp and retro steel Feather at £375.

    This is the Feather:

It’s a couple of pounds lighter than the EBC.
Basic is half pound less than the Feather.
I’d love to know the comparative frame weights, and the tubing/frame specs are a bit ambiguous.
    Nice bikes.

Merlin did a MALT 1 for a while, which was a stunning looking bike for very little cash.

I wonder how much less the Fuji weighs… And how much of that is the rims 🙂

    😀

    Fuji’s are about 22lb, the EBC 25lb-ish.

    I’d love a fixie.
But I live in a very hilly area, am hideously unfit and my chips & peas are knackered after years of football.

I still might pop down to look at the Fuji later in the week.
    🙂
