My parents let a 3 bed (1 double and 1 single) dog-friendly cottage. No issues with another person having an airbed on the floor somewhere. It’s available at that time.
Downside? South Lincolnshire, so not great MTB territory. Bring your road bikes.

couple of miles south of brecon, right on Pen Y Fan, i stayed there at easter.
looked the other day and they have vacancies over christmas, not sure if all* the cottages are dog friendly tho, give June a call

*3 rental cottages round a farm courtyard, sheep everywhere, but only 100yds across sheep fields to a woodland area that runs up to the mountain, so great for the dog.

English Heritage holiday cottages (managed by my gf 😉 ) welcome dogs at most of their sites.

There’s a filter on there that’ll only show the ones where dogs are allowed, come 5pm they shut the sites to the public and you can let the dog (or children in my case) run loose 😀
