    Just wondering…

Had a B52 Rock lobster where I used gold but not overboard
    hubs floating rotor, QR, seatpost

Depends what you mean by colour scheme.
I’ve tried gold QRs, floating rotors, chainring and front hub on a titanium frame, but as I swap bits between bikes so much, I probably never managed it all in one go and I haven’t got a photo of it.
I reckon any sort of colour coordination looks good, within reason, and gold and silver/titanium as good as any.

It’s a bike, not a wedding. Just ride it 😉

Ok, I was just trying to figure out how to give away some new Onza gold chainring bolts, without it being someone that will just sell them on.

This was my best, but thinking about it, stupid idea. 😳

Not that bad an idea and a nice one as well

I have gold anodized bits on my bikes. Been coupled to purple, black and soon to be dark blue frames as I’ve changed.

My Sanderson is covered in gold anodised bits. Mainly Hope but odd little bits here and there. I had some gold Saint chainring bolts, but they aren’t the correct length to work with the new Hope chainring. They are silver Stronglite ones and it bothers me. 😳

Old photo before the ratio change.

Like others, mine is black with gold bits (hubs, bolts, spoke nipples!) – oh and I now have gold bar ends rather than the ones in this picture!

used to have gold chainring bolts, but they came undone and I lost a couple – will happily have the ones you’re offering if nobody else has claimed yet…

Someone on here had stolen (And then recovered thanks to some people on here) a gold Klein that I think needs a special mention.

GT did a golden bike about 5 years ago. Here I am with mine. 😉

That Klein belongs to my mate Johnny. It was indeed recovered several months after I posted the details thanks to the awesome work of some forum members. I think the chainring bolts should go to him if you’ve not found a home for them, I don’t think his bike is quite good enough without them!

When I bought my Maverick (‘tequila’) from Sideways Tim I seem to remember he had a gold one there too. It must be out there somewhere.

In answer to the OP, yes and what of it?

Two excuses to post pics of my DH rig in one day. Who knew?

Golden rims are ace. I remember a race one time which had brilliant hecklers, every lap this guy got “GOLD WHEEEEEELS! HE’S THE MAN, THE MAN WITH THE MIDAS BIKE… THE TASTELESS BIKE” bellowed by 15 drunks, or some variation “WHO ROCKS THE DISCO? WE ROCK THE DISCO! EVERBODY ROCKS AT A GOLD WHEELS DISCO”
