Just had a go on my trombone after about 15 year of not playing and suddenly remembered how much fun I had as a student playing in various bands etc. Anyone else fancy joining in? (I’m in the Manchester area) Duets/quartets/jazz band. I like all of it so just need some people to play with and the longer since you used to play the better as I’m absolutely rubbish!

Shame, I would have made you feel so good about yourself as despite being pretty ok at other instruments and reading/sightreading music (‘how hard can a brass instument really be?’ I asked myself at the time) I was absolutely abominable at it! Beyond a mean diatonic harmonica, I just can’t co-ordinate my mouth and my hands/arms. There’s got to be an innuendo in there somewhere!
