It's got an EBB, so not on this frame. They have in the past on other frames though…

cost me £100 all in. a few imperfections in the finish but overall its acceptable. threads were masked off and it was dipped rather than blasted to strip it

Not the best pic, but there it is, powder coated gloss black. Done in 03 or 04 by ABC Powdercoaters in Nailsea, just outside Bristol. I did no prep, they shot blasted, masked etc. Jobs a goodun, tough as old boots if a little heavy compared to the original paint which was waffer thin! Cost was 25 or 30 – dead cheap! I'm now living in Berkshire and would love details of any good matey powdercoaters in this area please, i might fancy a change of colour!

Rob, was that done in Sheffield? I'm after somewhere to do the front half of a DH frame…. If it was in Sheffield, where and how much?

no pictures but I took some forks to an ironwrought place round the corner, the guy beadshot them for a tenner. Then I took them round the corner to a powder coaters and they coated them while I waited, another tenner. very happy with the finish, much easier than doing any of it myself.

    Paule,

I had my inbred frame powdercoated by 'Batchglow' 01909 563051 in Dinnington, it was £10 for shotblasting and £10 for powdercoating. Although this was a couple of years ago I would let them loose on any of my frames again, I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Good looking finish on these. Any chance someone knows of a good place to get a respray in London? This would definitely have to be something done with a recommendation, I'm getting a chill even just thinking about what could go wrong…
