If so is it good and worth the money as obviously it’s not like I can pop down the LBS and try one out before shelling out the cash

My house mate has got his today. I’m about to tune it up, stick some pedals on and go for shake down ride for him 😀

It’s very light (compared to my £500 in 2000 steal road bike) and has some lovely attention to detail- scalloped headset spacers for weight! But I’m unconvinced by the white brake lever hoods.

I am very jealous!

Only thing is there is a thread on here where people are saying
the hear a cracking noise around the bottom bracket area ?

Well on a 15 min shake down ride it felt absolutely great!

Fast, stiff, easy to get up to speed. Bit weird after only ever riding my road bike, especialy the shifing but i could get used to that
