i’d like to have a look at leverage ratio curve of my frame, just for curiosity really, or possibly to convince myself a coil shock would be a really good idea/total waste of time.
as i understand it, you can input measurements (and presumably frame type etc) and Linkage will do calcs for you and draw me a nice graph.

presumably it’s theoritcally possible to take a series of (highly precise) measurement oneself and put them into excel and get a graph that way. but i’m not feeling that geeky, tho i could probably take good enough measurements…

anyone up for doing it for me in Linkage or similar? i couldn’t justify the $25 to buy it just for one-off geeking.

    This one? http://linkagedesign.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/young-talent-wicked-2012.html

    Or this one? http://linkagedesign.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/young-talent-wicked-170-2013.html

Both are strongly progressive so will work best with high volume air or coil. I haven’t seen a YT bike that doesn’t have a progressive linkage, it seems to be the norm for them.
