I have a very important meeting on Sunday with a land owner of loads of moorland in West Yorkshire
Im negotiating cycling access to a long disputed private footpath that critically links three moors.
I need some examples of volunteer trail maintenance or repair that people have done as I think this will be a crucial part of the agreement to get access.
I hope to use the pics as evidence that its been done before and to the benefit of the environment, landowner etc

RangerBill and Tony Lund (TonyL) off here (or I think I have their emails) look after a lot of stuff in Lancs / PBW. Email me if you can't reach them. They're both Lancs CC employees.
There's loads of stuff available for Stainburn but it's probably not the type of trail example required. Say if it'd be useful though.
Refering to IMBA Guidelines might be worthwhile. Would show ability to work to a recognised, durable and sustainable specification. It's what all the stuff at Stainburn is built to. It's also agreed and inspected by Forestry Commission (RAnger and Civil Engineer). All our stuff has been to their ultimate satisfaction so shows some track record.

After riding the boggy, wide hell that is the climb to the trig point above Ogden Res then I will be interested in the outcome.
A bunch of volunteers and a couple if Sundays could easily make rideable channel for the bikers. At the moment the path is getting wider... I will be staying away.
