So I can’t fit any of my 2.3 Spesh tyres I to my new to me frame and the Mountain King I’m using now isn’t ideal so looking at a 2.25″ Nic.

Can anyone who has one fitted measure up the width of the tread at the widest point for me please?

I know that rim choice will affect things but I’m just after an idea on whether they are particularly wide or narrow for the stated width.

    Ta.

Mine is coming up at just under 2.5″ on a Stans Flow EX rear.

    Fits fine a Stooge frame

Good timing, I was just about to go out and clean my bike.

Mine are 2.25 EVO LiteSkin, fitted to a set of Crest rims last week, set up tubeless with somewhere between 30 and 40psi right now and they measure 54mm at their widest.

They did just under 11 hours at 10UTB on Saturday and were effin brilliant. Put an additional 10psi or so in the rear twice during the race but I was probably being fussy.
