Off work ill and planning a build of a Cotic Soda. Not sure what direction to go with it.. possibly carbon rigid? Maybe more burly?

Anyone got any nice ti-framed bikes they’d be willing to post up for some inspiration?

Also, anyone know if they’ll take a cheeky 650b wheel with a 2.1 racing ralph?

Been at least a couple years I've been wanting to make a fork like this, even had tubes bent and a steerer in steel waiting for my own but no time. So stoked to get an order for a Ti one as my first. Tapered steerer and , bolt through dropouts manually machined in house, with mounts for @salsacycles anything cages. #titanium #4ork #tjd #tjdbikes

I did this with mine:

Weighed nothing- it was kind of hard to ride sometimes because you’d go to ride over something and it’d bounce off instead 😆 But an absolute rocket. I had a set of Sids for it too and it gained a dropper at one point.

(that’s a 29er fork, I had a Soul which I mostly ran at 120mm so I wanted it to be the same shape)

That looks awesome! Not heard great thinga about those chinese carbon forks though?

I didn’t have any problems with mine but they were sort of scarily light, hard to trust. I think Trail Rat broke a steerer on his, though not in a “new face please” sort of a way… They were also a bit too stiff for my taste, if I was doing it again I’d use exotics, had a set of those before and they’re heavier but really good.

They look really nice. I much prefer the monocoque ones to the drainpipes like exotic.

No idea I’m afraid- it’d have had a 2.3 rear in it at some points though.

This what mine looked like, nothing fancy, hope, XT, Thomson….

Cove Hummer, Syncros forks, Jones bars. Not turned a pedal for well over a year, should really sell it but i’d get sod-all for it.

It was a tough ride in this morning, my legs felt like lead, however at least I finally had the Sync back together so I had a light bike to ride

You should see the thing that has replaced the towel rail. Can’t show you until the official release but its all lovely and bendy and swoopy and I may have taken it to bed and cuddled it and rubbed my gentleman’s area on it claim it as mine
