Mark 1 joysticks battery gone, doesnt hold a charge for more than half hour. Tried a different charger but still 30mins burn time.

Exposure want…..wait for it…..£55 to change the battery.

Now Um guessing here but, the battery really cant be that expensuve.
Anyone here fettle with changing batts on these. ?

Keen to find a cheaper alternative than sending to Exposure.
Had a very poor experience with them before after replacing a battery in another light.

Any alternative sources to MTB batteries? I emailed them a couple of times recently, but he is having some personal issues at the moment and seems to have put his business to one side for the moment.

You just need an 18650 with solder tabs, I did mine but borked the driver board putting it back together. You need to be quite careful with it. I have a DX torch which is brighter anyway so wasn’t too upset.
