If you do (and why shouldn’t you – its a great charity helping an incredible number of people) I might just have the perfect reason for you to do so.

I’m doing a sponsored BHF ride in the peak district a week today and have raised £2531 so far. Hitting £3000 is probably off limits now but all sponsorship would be very gratefully received.

My motivation for doing this was twofold – firstly my boss was diagnosed with a serious blockage in the main artery feeding his heart and needed open heart surgery. Secondly my mate P had a baby boy 9 weeks early who also needed a heart op. Without the research and great work the BHF carry out who know what might have happened in either case ?
