I have a NAD 3020 (I think 40w)amp which had it's 20th birthday last September, still going strong and has been in use constantly.
I did have a NAD CD player for a few years from '99-'04 but it was broken at a New Years Eve party 
Replaced that with a Cambridge Audio one which sounds better anyway. Run both with Ruark Epiologue speakers. Sounds good enough for me.

Still got my 3130 that I got 21 years ago. It's had a small amount of work to it, but still gives out good sound
Was connected to a Technics tape deck, but it's got a squeezebox connected to it.

Got a 6 channel/3 channel stereo thing off fleabay some time ago - 906 IIRC - to plumb into the house. (We've got speaker brackets in several rooms c/o the previous occupants.)
Bought myself a 3020 dating from 1985 off ebay last year. Best £25 I ever spent! Proper dirty bass 
I have a NAD 3020 bought in about 1983/4 still doing sterling work, no problems in mint condition. Thought it packed up a couple of years ago turned out to be dirty contact on speaker connection, nearly ditched it without looking as it was so old.
I bought a 521i CD player about 7 years ago from Richer Sounds which went phut after 13 months. Will cost more to fix than it cost to buy. Glad I kept my Technics player.
I Bought a Nad amp 3020i and a 5420 cd player off the dump b4 it got taken over by Sita 4 a grand total of £4 works lovely. I am after a Acoustic research turntable. if any 1 has got 1 at a good price.
