I heard the Scots batter Pizza and Confectionery, but do you guys do Pies too?

They certainly do, not sure it’s restricted to Scotland though

Never had one battered, but a pie in a (bread)roll/bap is common enough.

    Anyway, that’s all amateur stuff…

The idea of a battered lasagne pie has just made me salivate almost uncontrolably…

Not a battered pie, but I’ve had a dishevelled pasty.

I had a pie that was deep fried but with out batter, it was revolting 😐

If you deep-fry a pizza without battering it, the topping tends to come off and make a mess of the oil in the pans (druidh – ex-chippy worker)

I have it on good authority that there are places in Las Vegas that will deep fry coca-cola for you having first removed the can.

She overdid it with the vegetable
How many calories would that be and it would be about 80% fat and 20% sugar

A pie?! Pfft, if that’s the best you can come up with you’ve obviously never lived there:

Trapped Scottish drivers forced to deep fry each other

Frozen “Steak” pie, lobbed in the batter to cook. A regular occurrence at what was my local chippy in Edinburgh.

I work on the rigs, lots of Scots ‘delicacies’ to choose from.. Battered Black Pudding being my personal anathema.

Popped into chippy in Edinburgh once, spotted a half battered pizza and a battered Sirloin steak, well that’s what the little flag sticking in it said!

The first time I got salt and sauce I was a bit puzzled, I’m still not entirely sure what kind of sauce it was..

Excellent – a carb based dish, wrapped in carbs, dipped in liquid carbs and then deep fried. Does it come with chips or bread & butter?

Hopefully both and a pickled onion and a wee jar of mussels for EXTRA PROTEIN RECOVERY from that workout.
