    Yes I failed. 1974.
    The reason given was that I didn’t look over my shoulder before indication and pulling away from the kerb. The fact that I had waited and waited for the person supervising this particular part of the test to stop gossiping to her friend and then gave up and DID look over my shoulder before moving off had nothing to do with it.
    Oh no, I’m not bitter about this 42 years later, not in the slightest.
