    if so, did you have to pay any import duties etc?

    i see quite a few sellers on ebay, any of them recomended over others?

    was thinking about these or maybe the 299 version..

    Not the road ones but I bought some MTB ones from light bicycle. I had to pay around £22 customs fee. The seller marked them as 50 usd for the value but I’ve since found out if you can get them marked as used bike parts there no duty to pay. 😉

    Those weight a ton and don’t really look that aero.
    For 299, you should be getting wheels that weight around 1500 grams and 50-60mm deep if you’re after an aero wheel set.
    You would be better getting some second hand wheels from ebay.

    I bought carbonzone 50mm tub fronts for mine and the mts’s tt bikes, quick delivery, no duty charged, good quality wheels had no problems with them.
