    how low is it, can you see any of the remains of Mardale village? Just wondering as was on the radio today about the reservoirs being low, and water level on Thirlmere is down quite a lot.

    I was there 3 weeks ago and couldn't see anything from Rough Crag, but perhaps from the shore something might have been visible ?
