Can you take all the electrical gubbins off the bike easily, for extreme wet weather riding or pressure washing purposes ?
Seems like a good idea but I can’t see it lasting a British winter, or my pressure washer for that matter

Cos it’s easier and quicker than doing it by hand. I have better things to do with my time and I’ve never seen any ill-effects.
