Does anybody have a Ribble R872?

I’m thinking of buying one as a general fastish, medium distance road thrash bike. I’d go for the 105 spec for £1,000.

I’m unsure on sizing. I’m 6’2″ which would put me on an XL in the sizing charts, but XL sounds quite big. My current bike is a Genesis Equilibrium size 58 which would be more of a size L, but I’ve never had a bike fit or anything so that may be the wrong size, although it feels OK if a little upright sometimes.

Difficult without a test ride really. Anybody able to comment on the sizing?

I went from a medium Giant Defy (bike fitted) to the medium R872 and the fit was fine for me. I’m 5’10, HTH.

6’2 you would want the XL – reach is 403mm
On the Equilibrium 58cm is also an XL – reach is 406mm
