    Not looking for Hope or Shimano haters.

    But reading good stuff about the latest Shimano brakes, considering swapping my Hope X2’s on one bike for the latrst XT’s.

    Anybody done this and the outcome worth it more power etc ?

    Me too, but mainly because I have 1 X2 and 1 old Mono mini, and the rose bike price means a pair of XTs is pretty much the same price as replacing the old mono with another X2. Cheaper, if I EBay the Hopes after.

    Haven’t had Hopes since the old Minis, but new XTs are the best brakes I’ve ever used, if that info’s any good to you.
