I’m looking to get some new wheels built and was wondering if there are any wheel builders in the Malvern/Worcester area?

^ Paul is a very good wheel builder.

Before I learnt to do it myself, he put together a road wheel that Im still using after over 4,000 miles without needing any TLC. And Im a clumsy 90Kg clutz.

    No idea.
He built my wheel over 6 years ago.

Why not have a go yourself – Follow Sheldon Brown’s instructions online. I did this 2 years ago – takes a while the first time but gets easier – and once you can build them, minor adjustments and repairs become easy too.

Has saved me money allready – dont need a bike shop for anything now.

I’ll pop in and see Paul. Did think about doing it myself but for the amount I ride/time involved etc I reckon it would be better to get it done properly.

I agree with Stoner, Paul’s your man. He trued and fettled a MTB wheel for me three years ago- still straight as die

Baz at Two Wheels in Stourbridge has a very good reputation, worth talking to anyway.

Clements in Ledbury might be worth a try – he’s trued a few wheels for me very successfully. Might be more of a chance of a smile than other options too 😉

Ah, forgot about Clements…and I work in ledbury. Can pop in after work and see what they can do. A smile would be nice and maybe a short conversation 😉

Also at Back on Track in Malvern, there’s a new mechanic, Graham. Just moved there from Bristol and a bloody good wheelbuilder.
