  • Any trustworthy second hand car dealers in Scotland?

I wonder whether anyone out there has a positive experience from a second hand car dealership in the central belt of Scotland. I refuse to give Arnold Clark and subsidiaries my money – the horror stories I've come across match my own brief experience. Looking to spend £5k on a tdci focus or similar. Any help stw can give is most welcome!

    East Port Garage in Dunfermline.

I use them for servicing and they are excellent and wholly trustworthy. Not sure whether they will have what you are looking for exactly, but they can probably find one for you.

You are so right to avoid Arnold Cock – shower of c**ts.

Arnold Clark are the biggest shower of co@ks i have ever met.
Their after sales service is shocking and about as insulting as it can get.

Why not look for a private car. Get the AA or another company to come with you when you have narrowed down your search, not sure how much they charge but im sure its around the 120 quid mark. Well spent methinks.

But if you decide you would like a P plate A4 with 130,000 miles on the clock then drop me a line 😀
