Not for me, but has anyone used or come across online training for the standard MS Office packages. Ideally with some sort of completion certificate or test at the end. We have a lot of staff with very basic Office skills and want to take a look and see what is out there in terms of online courses.

The free MS stuff is very good imho but doesn’t have anything to say it is completed which often means that people never get round to doing it.

Doesn’t need to be free either, as long as it isn’t crazy expensive.

Might be an idea, I’ll take a look thanks. I’m also looking at the Lynda.com stuff although quality seems a bit variable. Liking the transcript on Lynda though as not everyone is a native English speaker

Could do the survey monkey thing but another part of the idea was to give people a certificate that might be recognised when they apply for their next job. One of the standard requirements for our staff is basic Word/Excel skills but they are still pretty bad throughout the sector.

The stuff @deadkenny linked to would be not bad. Just need to find some matching training courses
