Carerra Blast/Luna. Lots about. Decent frames, can be blinged and lightened by over indulgent fathers.

Fadda jnr’s carrera blast has done him well, although the mechanical brakes quickly got changed for a spare set of avids that I had.

Otherwise it’s a decent bike, without the fashion tax…

Bought one for my 7 year old before Xmas.

9speed, cable discs, suspension fork (meh) and sensible weight.

Saved half a pound putting a spare xt cassette on and it will go tubeless when I can face the faff but for the £300 we paid (was on sale iirc) not much looked like it was such a well rounded package. He loves it.
