Hi.
I’ve ripped out my bath only to find the pipe work is 3/4 not 22mm so obviously neither my push fit stop end or isolation valve seal the pipe fully. I been down and bought a 3/4″ olive to use in the 22mm isolation valve (as seems to be the most popular temporary solution) the olive is copper (not brass) and has a very un-even taper, a long slow taper that takes up 90% of its length and obviously a short steep taper the final 10 %. Which way round should this be fitted ?
Offering it up to the valve doesn’t shed any light on it’s intended orrientation either ?
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Michael
