..I SAID ANY HEARING SPECIALISTS IN THE HOUSE… 😀

Just been given this graph of my hearing from occupational health. They don’t/can’t eleborate on the results, apart from I can now see my right ear is red and my left hear is blue.

That says to me you haven’t been tested in nearly 8 years.

Is one ear bigger than the other?

I’m not an audiologist/ENT doctor, but it looks like the right ear is essentially normal and you have some mild high frequency hearing loss in the left ear.

I’m not an expert, but I think it means a tall dark stranger will come into your life and you will fall in love, his name begins with K….

You have high moderate frequency loss (nerve), if they had done a bone conduction test as well…
Can affect the way you hear speech. I’m not an expert, just an ex ENT nurse and have conduction hearing loss with a bit of high freqency drop off.

As someone now waiting to get a hearing aid for my left ear having seen an ENT consultant, had audiology do tests and also a pre-cautionary MRI, I’d say you could possibly benefit from a hearing aid in your left ear. Do you have trouble hearing people in noisy environments? I do and my graph was very similar to yours. Does it affect your job? If yes, then you could well do with a hearing aid.

Your left ear improved slightly* in the more ‘recent’ test.

Are you left handed and spend a lot of time on the phone? Or have just one earphone in from iPod etc.? What do you do as a job?

*Although, I don’t know what the y axis units are

I interpret those graphs as the results of your previous tests 8 and 11 years ago. Blue line 2006, red line 2003. Doesn’t give any clue as to your current hearing.

Clearly you’re not a Trekkie, or else you’d also have a final front ear.
