My old sidis have lost their sole, and the inserts in my diadoras have rounded after several great years service.
Looking for a new pair of xc spd shoes, in big (size 47). Gone are the days it seems that this size was freakishly big and you could pick up NOS for 20p.

Anything recommended or any bargains about? Budget is £40-50.

Northwave come up fairly accurate on size – and suit my wide feet well. I’ve not used these, but just done a quick google and Evans have some Spike Pro XC shoes in Euro/Enduro yellow in a 47 – half price at £37.50. Might be a good place to start as you do see some good NW sale bargains from them, CRC, Wiggle, Ribble etc – and they do bigger sizes if you need them as well.
