  • Any good deals on 'sim free' new android phones?

My phone has just broken 2 days after the warranty ran out. I’m looking for an android phone with a large’ish screen (c4.3″), ideally running v2.3 and a good camera.
Does anyone know of any good deals anywhere?
    Looking for new.
    Thanks

Dunno about specific deals but Expansys had the best combination of price and service when I was buying handset only.

    Worth a look.

Just got an evo, seems good, quidco too.

Expansys had Acer Liquid mt for £130.

You should do a search for the recent sale of goods thread…

+1, if your under contract the goods need to last that long.

I was told by Orange that the network providers liability to replace a faulty handset lasts 3 months, following that it falls to the manufacturers warranty, usually about 12 months I think. Not much use to most folk who are on 18 to 24 month contracts.

Warranty should be term of contract.

Under EU law it has to have at least a two year warranty.

Whoever you spoke to at Orange lied was misinformed. Try again.

I just bought and took delivery of an HTC Desire from Ebay, brand new, just not in an original box, sim free. They go for about £100.
