Going to see a physio anyway but wondered if anyone had a good core routine they use?

Get one of those large balls – I do a couple of exercises every morning and its really helped prevent back problems.

Pressups, crunches, plank, side-plank, repeat. 4-5 times a week.

Stand with your hand infront of your face, legs apart, palm facing you. Straighten your little and index fingers, bend the other two and the thumb as if you are making a fist. Say Aiiiiiiii.

    That core enough for you?

I hate ‘side plank’ with a passion. Still do them though.

cheers higgo looks good, i’ve watched the 300 stuff before and looked up the gym which looks a scary cave of pain. But good at the same time?

I’ve found singlespeeding works wonders for the core/nearly everything.
Sitting/kneeling on a big squishy ball is good too.

Probably not the best thing if you are seeing a Physio, but worth looking at some of the exercises.

Go to a Pilates class once a week. But don’t do Pilates at home until you know what you’re doing. The last 5mm (of alignment) is more important than the first 500mm.

Nice one Tricky… some new stuff I’d not seen there!

I did this yesterday, with some additional Kettle Bell stuff.
