    Our small garden pond has been frozen on and off (most on) for the past 6 weeks.
    Of course it’s time for the frogs to lay the spawn and sadly I found quite a bit of it in the wild flower bed, which is about 4 metres away from the pond. Guessing the frog hasn’t made it due to the pond being frozen.
    So, I’ve scooped it up and put it in the pond, which of course froze up again last night.
    Will the spawn survive?
    Will frog get another chance?
    Are we all doomed and in for a horrible overrun of slugs, snails and other garden trashing creatures?

    If you’re anywhere near Hove we can’t move for the bloomin’ stuff & you’d be welcome to some;
