Are there any decent disc brake deals around at the moment. Looking for something around the XT level. Decided to finally give up on my Avid Elixir as they have never worked properly. Got some new XT’s on my hardtail and these work great but thought I might try something else.

Just got a set of formula rx from Merlin for £150

Includes rotors, rear adapter. Nice and light – only 2 rides in but very pleased so far

Shame you’re not after much cheapness, Planetx on ebay have Deore 615’s on at £30 and end.

There where plenty of deals last week on Shimano, I was going to buy some Deore 610’s but went for XT instead. CRC had a SH10 code for an extra 10% off the already discounted price. Worth checking if it’s still on.

I wouldnt waste your money on XT when you can get Deore so cheap which are amazing brakes

@Funky, with the various discounts the price of the XT and Deore Groupsets where virtually identical. Why not get the better kit for what I recall was £20 (whole groupset)
