I’m looking for a 2008 version of one of these hopefully a bit cheaper than the 09 models. 714 preferred but if anyone knows of any deals at the moment I’d be grateful.

I’ll maybe try and pop in over the next week or two and have a better look at them, does the 514 ride much differently (worse) for having the float r shock?

Not at all really.
You will find them pretty bob free anyway.

i have an 08 314 with diff build on it and its grand, great traction up and down and not once have i thought about the rear shock.

we have a 314 and 316 on display. both Med.

If you are in the south eas, try nirvana in dorking, surrey, they have a medium 514 as a demo bike.

you will be very lucky to find an 08 model as they all sold pretty quickly.
