Hi guys. I’m wanting to try out clipped pedals on my MTB and my road commuter. Anyone got a shoe they would recommend? Would like a shoe that isn’t gonna hurt my wallet too much.
Oh and any pedal suggestions for my MTB? Shimano DX?

cheapest way to try is probaly lidl, my local one still has some in for shoes and classifieds for spds or CRC/wiggle have some for less that £20 with cleats.

Aye true. Never thought about lidl or aldi.

I’ve got crank brothers egg beaters for £40 & I reckon that they’re better than XTR, IMHO. my shoes are Pearl Azumi & also £40 – both from Wiggle. the best set up I’ve had out of 4 different ones.
