I’m Looking for some heavy duty 29er wheels, £350 max budget but ideally cheaper. I am 110kg (6’7″) in riding gear so need to be pretty robust. Any deals or suggestions? Cheers!

£350 would get you a decent set of the tougher hopes (32H, EVO2, Flow), Easton Wheels seem to be the most commonly discounted at the moment.

Cheers for the comprehensive reply! What is the internal width of your wheels, also can the rear hub be converted to 12×142?

No worries, I’m browsing the sales for various bits at the moment!

Not sure if the XR 2.0 can be converted to 142, the end caps are threaded rather than pull off, so I would say it’s probably not worth the hassle of acquiring the parts and doing it – my personal choice is to get something that’s fits out of the box to save messing on!
I haven’t measured the internal width either, sorry! they look about average – nether wide nor super skinny, but that’s probably not much help.
