  • Antibacterial wash?

Some of my clothes seem to honk around the pits even after washing (bike tops, gym tops, even some work shirts) and also have deodorant stains. The trouble is I can only wash most of them at 40 degrees. Can anyone recommend some good antibacterial soap or washing powder that’s good at low temps?

I think napisan is quite common.

Halo Sportswash (from Wiggle if you can’t find it in a supermarket)

Use a biological powder & give them a long wash. Or soak first.

Ariel/Vanish/Tesco all make some powder you add to the wash to kill bugs.

    Halo +1

If you have kids, I’ve found that it works very well on sick, shit and piss. Oh and cat piss. Which is nice.

In fact, I need to buy some more as that’s what it’s all been used on.

Alternatively, Vanish powder has a green ‘extra hygene’ option which works well too.

Yep, Halo has done wonders for the Olifactory acceptableness of my bike kit.

Shaving your jersey? Is that a euphemism?

I know that if my kit is growing hairs, it’s probably due a wash
