    Hi,

Are there any other ANT+ cadence meters out there that I should look at to save a few bucks on the Garmin one?

Anyone experimented with gps, cadence to make virtual power calculations?

    Cheers.

Bontrager? Don’t know if it’s much cheaper though.

Strava will give you an estimated power output IIRC, but it’s only a guess based on how quick you went up the hill and your weight. There’s no way of finding power from cadence.

Cheers! Strava has it goin on, eh?

I saw this ages ago and wondered if it had got any more popular.

GPS based power will be woefully inaccurate. Strava certainly is.

The Garmin GSC-10 is only £30 or so, not too bad.
