Toros getting hard to get now, so it’s what spesh combo time….is it:
ground control front – purg rear (grid or control)
Butcher front – Purg rear (grid or control)
Butcher front – slaughter rear (grid or control)

Our riding is a rough mix of the lot, rough rocky ups/downs, forest enduro and xc style trails, and general firetrack/single track….and all of that is on virtually every ride (lucky really)

I want to keep weight down as in Toros (750f-730r) ish.

Told you I’d kept it simple

I really like the ground controls, not tried any of the others yet though

Butcher/Purg here, very good for me in everything bar proper mud and shit.

Had trouble with butcher (control 2bliss) running tubeless, kept burping, sidewalls are pretty thin anf flexy, popped the bead a lot, I am 15st admittedly, but don’t ride anything stoopid, mostly xc.

I’m running Butcher Front, Ground Control Grid rear on the hardtail. Great combo and would highly recommend, not sure why you don’t have it as one of the options already?
If I was running on my bigger bike I’d have the Butcher Grid on the front as the compound is a bit softer, but with the use the hardtail gets there is not much need.
