For various reasons we are looking at getting a second car criteria are as follows,
    Cheap to buy £4kish
    Cheap to insure,tax etc
Big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (most of the time but occasionally 5 people)
Was thinking along the lines of the diesel Renault Modus, anybody have experience of these or any other suggestions.

    Thanks in advance.

I know, we don’t really need a big car the Hyundai Sant Fe takes care of that department.
If it was my heart chosing it would be the Red Alfa 147 1.9 diesel that is for sale locally for £4k, but the SO has final say and she is very practical about these things:-(
It was the £20 road tax that is attracting her to the Modus.

How do you like the sante fe?

How about the Citroen then. Good write ups and cheap to tax

Santa Fe is excellent 130,000 miles on it and no major problems so far. Bought it for work initially for going across fields and the like and it has never let me down!

    You thinking about buying one?
