RIP and very sorry to read this as ELP were part of my younger years. Seen them live a few times and had some of their albums, on vinyl naturally.

    We’re losing too many. 🙁

Bum holes. A massive fan. I loved the Boys Club album from a few years back. Saw the Nice and ELP.

I guess the “Show that never ends” just ended.

Never got to see ELP live but they were one of my favourite bands in the 70s.

I’ve got all their albums up to Works II- on vinyl. Time to dig them out.

    Tragic if it was suicide

My first live concert, ELP… saw them many times, was listening to Pictures on Monday whilst using my turbo in the garage… met Palmer & Lake but Emerson was always elusive… sad day 😥

Reminds me of the Carl Palmer quote ‘there are three things you definitely don’t want or need when you’re a musician on tour – toothache, earache and Greg Lake’

Pregnant with promise and anticipation but murdered by the hand of the inevitable
