Off the back of the question about selling a used helmet I wondered if the good folks of STW had an opinion on the risks of dropping a helmet in transit (was mentioned in the other thread)

Basically I was packing my kit and my full facer blew off the roof of the car and landed on the road. Looks fine bar a tiny scrape and didn’t think twice about it, but comments like ‘how do you know a second hand one hasn’t been dropped’ don’t fill me with confidence!

They’re stronger that and wouldn’t bother me.
