    I have an item up BIN with best offer.

    Italian chap has made a reasonable offer but put “including postage” in the terms (in Italian).

    AFAIK eBay applies the postage charge automatically, or can this be varied manually at checkout?

    If you’ve specified a postage amount, then it’ll be applied on top of his BIN offer.

    Ta, further research suggests you can manually adjust the postage after doing the deal. Have made a suitable counter-offer.

    If using the global shipping then eBay sets that amount.

    Italian post is notoriously bad so make sure you include enough to cover sufficient insurance, LMGTFY.
