Tempted by the Zee’s on CRC, they have been reduced to about £85 an end but….there is a guy on ebay selling his boxed and unused pair of XT’s for about the same money, including finned pads, icetech rotors etc….if i buy the Zee’s they will be going on my standard Shimano discs initially.

Which would be better?

They’re going on a Trance with usual trail riding, the odd uplift day, once a year Alps week etc etc…

Warranteed brakes from a shop, or take a punt on some 2nd hand goods from a complete stranger with no comeback?
