Has anyone had this done? If so, how much did it cost, and where?

    Thanks folks.

researched it. You will find the cost is similar to a good paint job, also, unless all welds and frame tubes are made of exactly the same alloy, the colour they become will be different. Most of them seem to be in Birmingham, altough I can’t remember who. I do recall having a chat with Hope, who were helpful. Perhaps start there?

Had a frame clear anodised and it took a lot of abuse and came up looking fine, can’t remember how much it was though, paid a bit extra to get the frame polished.

I’ve plugged this company a few times on here now and will continue:
    Acorn Plating in Sandhurst

Some examples of the stuff they do.

Thanks for the info. I would still like to keep the factory graphics if that is at all possible. The frame is anodised at the moment, but is black and I quite fancy changing it to british racing green.

Yep they could do that, the first stage is to dip the frame in an acid bath though so you’ll need to source some replacement graphics. 🙂
