Hopefully someone here can help –

I’ve got a HTC one s which I’ve been using sailing sync to sync itunes playlists to. Now after having updated it to 4.1 it no longer able to connect as a mass storage device so sailing sync appears to no longer work.

I’ve tried htc sync manager which worked when putting the initial playlists on the but doesn’t seem willing to update them.

I’ve been extensively googling this for the last hour or so & not coming up with anything, so any help would be appreciated. Provided of course your idea of help isn’t to suggest I buy an iphone.

    Thanks.

Used to use doubletwist didn’t really like it – will give it another go.

I’ve downloaded android file transfer – it allows me to browse the phone, but doesn’t seem an elegant solution.

Just tried doubletwist again – it doesn’t seem to want to mount… & I remember why I didn’t like it – painfully slow!

I think it’s something to do with the latest versions of android being mtp only, but I’m not sure what that means! Android used to be easy.
